Dmitriy Minenko, Tidewind’s CEO, was speaking about Unidirectional Rotation Rotor (UDRR) and tidal energy converting technology at the Marine Renewables Canada (MRC 2025) conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on November  11-14, 2025.

During his presentation, Dmitriy presented his innovative technology for harvesting energy from two different renewable sources – marine tidal stream and wind – to a large group of attendees from Canada, Europe, and the USA. 

This presentation received interest and positive feedback from marine energy specialists as a promising idea for tidal energy conversion technology. 

It was also a great opportunity to connect with the Canadian renewable energy community, including wind and tidal energy specialists, engineers, scientists, Ph.D. students, and renewable industry leaders working at the forefront of marine renewable energy.
